At Monticello Academy, we recognize that many important aspects of a student’s school experience happen outside the classroom. Our Before School and After School Care program is here to serve our K-8 students beyond academic learning hours both before and after school. We provide the students with breakfast, snacks, and wholesome food in addition to fun games and social activities for the students to participate in.
Students who regularly participated in after-school programs exhibited notable improvements in work habits and behavior, as well as academic performance. Students can develop time-management skills, build self-esteem, and practice goal-setting. While it may be tough to squeeze in after-school activities, the benefits are well worth the extra effort.
At Monticello Academy, we have many different types of extracurricular activities that you might enjoy, from sport to music, robotics, foreign languages, and arts.
