Taekwondo is a Korean martial art which aids students in developing, physically, mentally and spiritually. Through consistent practice and dedication, Taekwondo training becomes a way of life for students, allowing them to embrace intense mental and physical training and focus on growth and harmonization of their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual centers. The results are students who can make good decisions, and do the right thing without hesitation, enabling students to become better citizens and future leaders.
The Monticello Academy Taekwondo Program's curriculum is divided into eight categories, fundimentals, forms, dynamic technique, cardiovascular conditioning, Olympic sparring, stretching, breaking and milestones. Each of these sections aid students in developing balance in their Taekwondo training and in their own lives.
