Programming Silver Medalist

American Computer Science League (ACSL) is a programming competition in which students are individually tested on fundamental concepts in computer science. The competition is broken down into four segments with several weeks to complete each segment and includes a problem to solve using one of three programming languages which are Python, C++, or Java. Monticello Academy student K. Kurtev competed in the Junior 5 league this year and finished all four segments at the top. He was invited to compete in the finals which was held on Saturday May 28th and took home a silver medal. Our thanks to the club advisor Ms. Ward for encouraging the students in this competition. Congratulations!
