Description
In this elective, students will use computers and design software to imagine, create, and test their own ideas—just like real engineers do. Explore the world of Computer‑Aided Design (CAD), a tool engineers use to bring ideas to life. Using a beginner‑friendly CAD program, students will learn skills such as 3D modeling, problem‑solving, and creative design. Throughout the semester, students will learn to think like engineers as they use technology to plan and design everything. They’ll experiment with shapes, structures, and digital prototypes while gaining confidence with tools widely used in engineering, robotics, architecture, and product design.
