Prerequisites and Enrollment Criteria
This course is intended to prepare students for the FTC competition elective the following year. Open to students in grades 6 and 7 only. Although a formal interview is not required, the teacher will meet with students to discuss expectations and confirm their interest in committing to the team the following year.

Description
Robotics: First Tech Challenge (Introduction) builds foundational skills in programming, computer-aided-design (CAD), and robot construction. Through hands-on projects and team-based challenges, students learn the essential techniques needed to succeed in the FTC competition elective.
